Owner Shanna Myers
When Shanna's younger sister was 2 years old she was diagnosed with Celiac Sprue Disease. In the 1980 there wasn't much her sister could eat, the products were horrible tasting, dry and smelled bad. So, when she found out in 2002 that she had Celiac as well, it was her mission to find really good gluten-free products. Even though there are some awesome companies out there today. She realized there are no bakeries in town that currently sell baked good for her or anyone else. So starting in 2013, She decided to open a bakery out of her home. In May 2013, she left her job in the retail world to go back to school. She is now a graduate from Culinary Institute of Virginia with a Bachelors degree in Food Service Management, Associates in Baking and Pastry Arts, Associates in Culinary Art and Applied Nutrition and is now getting her Masters in Business Management. In the up coming years, she hopes to have a store front.
